I thought I'd give a heads up to a problem you've probably seen but don't
know much about. Some of you know more than you wanted to know about
phishing because I've heard of some people getting caught by phishing
emails. So here is an interesting test developed by my favorite firewall
company Sonicwall.

You'll be shown 10 different emails. Are they legit or scams designed to
trick you out of personal information.

I'm learning to play the drums!

For many of you this will be new news, I have held a life long dream to be able to play the drums and this year i have taken up the challenge! It started with the purchase of rock band last year and grew this year into a full Electric Drum kit that i've sunk about $1200 into so far. It's a Yamaha DMXpress II kit that i got off craigslist and have added a Roland 12" mesh head and 2 Pintech 16" and 18" cymbals.

I hacked into the rock band drum controller and found a circuit that allows me to convert the MIDI signals into relay switches and hard wired that to the controller and presto! but enough talk check out my video i shot of me playing "Hello There" from Rock Band 2 on Expert!!

Another cool thing is that on the Channel 12 website kptv.com if you click
the Your News link on the home page My video from that last lightning storm

Cody's Class goes to Olympia

Went with Cody's Class to Olympia this week and visited the capitol building
specifically the Legislature building and the Temple of Justice. Took along
my little Canon Powershot elf which takes very great video all the canon
point and shoots do these days. Shot a little video as we went around and
compiled a little 5 min recap of the day.

If you haven't seen the Washington State capitol building like I hadn't it's
a quick tour of the place which is amazing.

I will be just like this guy. Well I won't look like him I'll just be
playing on my Yamaha DTXpress Electronic Drum Set on Rock band!!! Oh ya I'm

What a sweet game we've found Rock Band for the Xbox 360. Like Guitar Hero
but with Drums, Bass, Guitar, and a Mic for singing. Here's some picture of
our first band we have several now that come and play at the house. This is
Adam and Hollie from our church. That's a Fender Stratocaster that I'm
playing there. One of my other bands includes David Carroll, Chris Kalani,
Tony White we rocked with all of us on expert 10 songs! I'm to expert on
guitar and singing on all but a few songs.

Did a video shoot today for the Welcome to the Gorge DVD at the Western
Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum in Hood River they have one of the
nations largest collections of FLYING antique aeroplanes. All of the
airplanes in their collection fly.

I got to ride in a 1942 Piper L-4 the military version of the popular piper
airplane and shoot some video from it.

What's a guy to do on a nice day like this? Well if you're making a film on
the Columbia River Gorge then you have to take advantage of these nice days
and go when the getting's good.
I sent my employee and his girlfriend up on Saturday but they didn't get to
the top so I took Scott again today so we could actually get to the best
views. In total it was a 6 mile hike with 3000 ft of elevation gain. But
sure is a great view.

Tracy and I had such a great time on Maui. We were there without kids for 5
days the weather was perfect and I even got tracy to go out on a 3-hour Quad
ride up in the Maui mountains she did great and had a great time.

We traveled to the top of Mt Haleakala to 10,000 feet so high that we were
thousands of feet above the clouds and the air was very thing and a bit hard
to breath.

We explored the Hana Highway and found a secluded waterfall.

Stayed at the Four Seasons in Wailea this is a picture of the pool at night.

Went to a Luau in Lahaina called the Feast at Lele.
